Dwayne Douglas
Dwayne Douglas Johnson, commonly known under the assumed name The Rock, was born on May 2, 1972 in Hayward, California. Ata Johnson, who was born Feagaimaleata Fitisemanu Maivia is his mother. Professional wrestler Rocky Johnson was his father (born Wayde Doug Bowles). He is the son of the couple Ata Johnson (born Feagaimaleata Fitisemanu Mayvia) and Rocky Johnson (born Wayde Douglas Bowles). His mother is from Amherst in Nova Scotia, Canada is dark. Her father is also black. Dwayne has been a traveler frequently and watching his dad compete in the wrestling arena. While in high school, Dwayne began playing football and was soon awarded full-time scholarship at The University of Miami, where there was tremendous success as a football player. Dwayne was injured in his back during 1995 that ended his place on the NFL. Within a year the player signed a three-year contract in the Canadian League. He left to follow a career as a professional wrestler.
