Lesley Ann Brandt and Maria Bartiromo

Born on December 2 1982 in Cape Town South Africa Lesley-Ann Brandt is an actor and model best known for her roles in film and TV series. Brandt was the first actress to make her American debut in Spartacus: Blood and Sand which is a drama set in the past. She began her acting career in New Zealand who appeared on Diplomatic Immunity. In the last decade Brandt has been featured in many television shows, including those from Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies and The Librarians. Brandt is currently appearing as Mazikeen, a character in Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro's urban fantasy Lucifer. Brandt was raised in Cape Town in South Africa. She moved to Auckland, New Zealand with her family when she reached her late teens. Her career began as model in print as well as commercial advertisements. Prior to when she had a career as a model, Brandt was a saleswoman working in retail and a consultant in recruitment for information technology. The first time she was featured, she landed her part in the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity in which she played the character as Leilani Fa'auigaese. In 2021, she made her debut appearance on Spartacus Blood and Sand on Starz. She was a slave named Naevia. In the mini-series Spartacus Gods of the Arena in the year 2021, she played the character Naevia. Craig Parker starred alongside her in three TV shows: Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010), and Legend of the Seeker (2008). In 2016, she began playing a bounty-hunting demon named Mazikeen in the Netflix successful show Lucifer. It is her largest role so far. She is co-starring in the show alongside Tom Ellis Lauren Germany Kevin Alejandro, and D. B. Woodside.

The first person to broadcast live from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange Maria Bartiromo is a well-known American TV journalist with many highly-rated shows under her belt. A broadcasting veteran with over two decades of experience in reporting about business and economy she was instrumental in establishing the TV channel CNBC as being among the most prestigious on the market in the economy and business segment. It's easy to understand how her successful journalism career was destined to be hers. As a teenager, Maria struggled to decide which career she wanted. When she first started out, Maria would have liked to sing. In the end, she chose to pursue interior design. When she realized the joy journalism had to offer there was no turning at her. Apart from being a great journalist this witty girl also serves as an inspiration to young women who want to pursue a career in journalism. Along with being recognized as one of fifty faces that shaped the decade, she is the first journalist of female descent to ever be inducted into Cable Hall of Fame. She is also an author and columnist.
