Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox born December 25 of 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother, while Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox was accepted to the Royal Academy of Music in London in the 70s, where she studied the flute piano and harpsichord for three years. Lennox lived on a student allowance and took off on a part-time job to supplement her income. Lennox decided to change her career path following her dissatisfaction with her inexperience and lack of talent contrast to others Royal Academy students. Lennox started her professional career in the year 1976 as a member of the group called Dragons Playground. The group broke up shortly before their appearance in I.T.V's talents program New Faces. She was the singer in The Tourists a British pop band from 1977 to the year 1980. In this band, she was first introduced to Dave Stewart. Together they would form their own group, the Eurythmics the pop group. Lennox was later able to record her debut solo album Diva. This was released in the year 1992. The album was hugely successful both commercially and critically. Nostalgia Lennox's 6th solo album was released in the month of November. The C.D. is a selection of Lennoxs most loved blues and soul songs from her childhood. Lepidoptera is a collection of four tracks that she improvised for piano, which Lennox made available in May 2019. The E.P. Her first album, Now I'm Letting You go... was released as an accompaniment to her installation of work at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. Annie Lennox is a Scottish musician and singer who was born on December 25th 1954. The Tourists were a new-wave group that had some popularity in the latter part of 1970s. In the following years, Lennox joined fellow artist Dave Stewart to form the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox debuted her solo music career in 1992 through an album titled Diva. It featured many famous songs like Walking on Broken Glass and the song Why. Medusa, a 1995 studio album features the cover versions of some popular songs such as No More I Love Yous as well as A Whiter Shade of Pale. The singer has recorded six solo studio albums, as well as one compilation album to her credit.
