Annie Lennox
| Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox was a student at Lennox's Royal Academy of Music, London in the 70s. She studied the harpsichord and flute for three whole years. Lennox was able to survive on a student allowance and part-time job in order to earn a living. Lennox believed that her abilities aren't the same as other Royal Academy classmates. So she thought about alternative routes she could choose. Lennox began her career in the year 1976, as a singer in the band Dragons Playground. She left the band prior to the group's appearance to I.T.V.s talent contest New Faces. From 1977 to 1980 she was lead voice of The Tourists, a British pop group. In this band, she met Dave Stewart who would later form Eurythmics. Lennox began work on her solo debut album Diva in 1992. It was a massive critical and commercial success. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth album as a solo artist was released in October 2014. This C.D. Lennox has chosen her favorite blues along with soul and jazz music. Lepidoptera A collection of four piano improvisations was published by Lennox in May of 2019. The E.P. will be a part of her installation of art at The Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art named"Now I'll Let You Go... The album is also her first self-released album.
