Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox born December 25 in 1954. She was born in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother as was Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox was awarded a scholarship to study at London's Royal Academy of Music for three years. Lennox was paid a stipend and did part-time jobs to help supplement her income. Lennox was able to make a change in her profession following her dissatisfaction with her lack of skill in the same way as others Royal Academy students. Lennox began her career as musician with the group Dragons Playground. The band did not make it to the talent contest New Faces on I.T.V. She was the main singer in The Tourists a British pop band from 1977 to the year 1980. There she made friends with Dave Stewart who would later create Eurythmics. Lennox then began to work on her first solo album Diva, which was released in 1992. It was an enormous hit with regard to selling and critically acclaimed. Nostalgia Lennoxs Six solo album, released in October 2014 is Nostalgia Lennox. The C.D. The C.D. is comprised of Lennox's favorite blues, jazz, and soul songs from her youth. Lepidoptera was released by Lennox on May 19, 2019. The album is consisting of four tracks composed by Lennox. The E.P. is a companion piece for her installation of art at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled"Now I'll Let You Go... It is also her debut independently-released album. Annie Lennox is a Scottish musician and singer who was born on December 25, 1954. In the late 70s, Lennox gained some not-so-great fame while the lead singer the group known as The Tourists. She and Dave Stewart then gained international recognition in the 80s as Eurythmics. Lennox launched her own solo career when she released her debut album Diva in 1992. This was the source of several hit songs, including"Why" and "Walking through the Broken Glass. Medusa her 1995 studio album includes cover versions of tracks including No MoreI Love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale. Six studio albums of her own as well as a compilation album the result of her efforts.
