Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox born December 25, 1954, Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox, who studied for three year at the Royal Academy of Music London in 1970s, was accepted. She was able to survive on a student stipend and did part-time jobs in order to make ends meet. Lennox as she was studying in the Royal Academy of Music in London, was not happy with her performance in comparison to the other students. She started to think about alternatives. Lennox played the flute in the 1976 group called Dragons Playground. She quit the band prior to New Faces, the I.T.V. talent show. She was the main voice of The Tourists a British pop group from 1977 until the year 1980. In this band, she got to know Dave Stewart and together they created The duo Eurythmics. Lennox collaborated on her solo debut album Diva. The album was released in 1993. It became a huge success both commercially and critically. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album came out in the month of October, 2014. This C.D. Lennox picked her favorite blues and soul tracks. Lepidoptera was released by Lennox on May 19, 2019. The album is consisting of four tracks that were improvised. The E.P. The first single from her debut album"Now I'm Letting You go... It is the perfect accompaniment to her work of work at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. Lennox as well as Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, went on to achieve international fame in 1990s when they formed the Eurythmics. In 1992 Lennox began her solo career, releasing their debut record Diva that produced a number of hit songs includingWhy andWalking on Broken Glass. Medusa is her album of studio work from 1995. The album features covers of songs like No MoreI I Love Yous and The Whiter Shade of Pale. She has released six solo studio and compilation albums.
